Sweet Beginnings
Soapy Mess started with my daughter. When she was about six or seven years old, she came to me with a big idea—she wanted to start her own business. When I asked what she planned to sell, she confidently listed soap, bath salts, bath bombs, and more. I told her every good business needs a name and a logo. About twenty minutes later, she came back with both—the name Soapy Mess and a hand-drawn logo she had created herself. That little moment of creativity and determination became the spark that started it all.
Now, my daughter is grown, helps craft our inventory, and accompanies me to each show and market! We keep the original hand-drawn logo design framed in our craft room to always remind us of why we put our heart and care into every silly, cute piece!
